SYMPTOM(s):
French Canadian accents do not display correctly
Accent on E displays as a bar
Using gui application
-cpstream and -cpinternal in startup.pf are set to IBM850
CHANGE:
Migrated from Progress 8.x to Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
The application is using the progress.ini file to set the fonts. One of the fonts definitions has as an entry:
, script=OEM
FIX:
1. In the progress.ini file, remove the definition
, script=OEM
2. Save the file.
The accented characters should now display correctly using the default fonts in the progress.ini file.
