Records are missing from the database
Application creates records in a table and then outputs record to a printer.
Database log file (dbname.lg) indicates some transactions are being backed out.
HANGUP signal received. (562)
Begin transaction backout. (2252)
Transaction backout completed. (2253)
CAUSE:
Transaction associated with the record creation was backed out.
FIX:
Modify the application so that the scope of the transaction associated with the creation of a record is not a subtransaction of a larger transaction.
