UIB menus distorted by Windows 95 desktop themes

In Progress version 8.2A (and possibly in earlier versions as
well), a customer may complain that tbe UIB menus wrap. That is,
the text below the icon wraps improperly and the icons may appear
to be too small for the proper desktop appearance. Ask the
customer if they are using a "desktop theme." If so, revert back to
the default Windows 95 desktop theme and see if the problem is
cleared.

Several of the optional "desktop themes" included on Microsoft's
Windows 95 Plus CD-ROM specify that larger fonts be used for all
items on the desktop. Use of one of those themes can cause
undesireable effects on crowded areas of the desktop, such as the
UIB.
