GOAL:
Why does my BI file grow during a tablemove after all records have been deleted?
FIX:
There is some clean-up that takes place after a delete occurs rather than as part of the delete operation in order to make the delete operation appear to be faster. Even in an empty table, you'll see the delete of the old template record and the creation of the new one. What happens during a tablemove, is that indexes get updated too. If there are no records, there won't be any key values. But there are likely to be deleted index entries that eventually need to be removed. These are all transactions that will be written to the bi file causing it to grow.
