SYMPTOM(s):
During barcode reading characters are lost
CAUSE:
During the read of barcode some characters are lost.
No check digit is verified after the reading.
FIX:
This is not a Progress problem.
You need to calculate the check digit in way to verify the input of the Barcode reading and to make sure that was returned by the barcode reader.
Check digit should be verified always, it is the only way to ensure and validate what has been read.
