SYMPTOM(s):
Error when trying to connect to a database created within the Data Administration Tool
Database appears to be created but is not
Database can be created on the command line (i.e. Proenv)
**Cannot find or open file <filename>, errno = <number>. (43)
**Cannot find or open file <filename.db>, errno = 2. (43)
CAUSE:
Progress Environment variables are not properly set, e.g.: DLC is pointing to another Progress/OpenEdge version
FIX:
Make sure that the DLC variable is defined correctly in the progress.ini and also in the following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PSC\Progress\<version>\Startup and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PSC\Progress\<version>\Startup

Create the DLC environment variable and add DLC\bin to the PATH environment variable (within the System Variables)
