CHANGE:
New install of Progress on Linux RedHat 2.1
CAUSE:
Hosts file had invalid entry for localhost. RedHat Linux 2.1 puts an alias for the machine name in the hosts file on the same line as the localhost entry.
FIX:
The hosts file should not be set as follows:
127.0.0.1 localhost machine-name
The host file should be set as follows:
127.0.0.1 localhost
IP Address machine name
