No problem when connecting as root user

Unable to connect to a database on Linux 64-bit

semLockLog_2: semValue val = -1 when running mpro <dbname>
ipcs semaphore owner output does not show up the same user who started the database as the owner of semaphore database array

CAUSE:
This is an unsupported configuration - Progress does not have a native build for Linux AMD/IA 64-bit OS.
FIX:
Install Linux OS port for Intel (IA-32)

Use Client/Server connection (configuration remains unsupported).
