"The Progress Fathom Management user interface can only be accessed from a browser which has cookies enabled. Please consult the Fathom documentation for more information on browser requirements."
No problem remotely accessing Fathom Management Console with Netscape/Mozilla
No problem accessing the Fathom Management Console locally.
No anti-virus software running
Browser set to accept all cookies.
CAUSE:
The problem occurs when Fathom Management is installed on a machine with an underscore in the name:
http://PC_NAME:9090
When accessing from the same machine that fathom is installed on, localhost is being specified:
http://localhost:9090
FIX:
Use the Fathom Machine's IP address instead of hostname when remotely accessing the Managment Console via Internet Explorer:
http://###.###.###.###:9090
