SYMPTOM(s):
The load fails and no .e file is generated
Trying to load .df into existing database
The 'Output Errors to File' option is turned on
CAUSE:
The .df file was created via a custom 4GL program and the 4GL program does not 'escape' double quotes with a tilde character like the standard Progress utility for dumping a .df file does.
FIX:
Modify the 4GL program so that all double quotes are prefixed by the tilde character
