Starting a character client session with _progress starts the Procedure Editor
Connecting single user to database errors with:

SYSTEM ERROR: Illegal system call. (297)
CAUSE:
Unsupported configuration. Progress dropped support for Sco Openserver in Open Edge 10.
FIX:
Upgrade Operating System to Sco Unixware 7.1.4, or any other platform supported by OpenEdge 10.0B.
