After starting the AdminServer with 'proadsv -start' user is returned to the OS prompt without errors reported
AdminServer does not start
No exceptions are reported
No log files are being created
Working directory has adequate permissions
Starting the AdminServer using root account
CHANGE:
Installed service pack 9.1D09
CAUSE:
Fathom remote management enabled.
FIX:
Execute the following command:
fmconfig -disable
Start the AdminServer in a normal way:
proadsv -start
