SYMPTOM(s):
WebClient application startup fails with error:
Cannot launch WebClient.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Initial installation performed using Administrator account
Registry entries HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\<Vendor-Name>\<App-name> and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\<Vendor-Name>\<App-name> exist and are correct
The WebClient application installation directory 'WebClientApps' does not
contain <Vendor-Name> directory
CAUSE:
Missing application installation directory.
FIX:
1. Manually remove registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\<Vendor-Name>
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\<Vendor-Name>
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WebClient\Application <Vendor-Name>\<App-Name> string value
2. Re-install the WebClient application
