Getting exception when trying to start AdminServer for 64-bit OpenEdge 10.0B
jni_util.dll: load ENOEXEC on shared library(s) when starting AdminServer
No admserv.log has been created
Using 64-bit version of Java
All necessary OS patches are installed
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError when starting AdminServer on AIX 64-bit
Message (excp): /usr/dlc100b/bin/jni_util.dll: load ENOEXEC on shared library(s)
Stack Trace: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/dlc100b/bin/jni_util.dll: load ENOEXEC on shared library(s)
CAUSE:
The 64-bit java is not supported even with 64-bit version of OpenEdge.
FIX:
Install 32-bit version of JVM 1.4.1, amend the $DLC/bin/java_env to reflect that change and start the AdminServer
