GOAL:
Does Progress have an RPM to install in Linux ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Linux
FIX:
Most Linux tools are provided in RPM packages which are easily handled by the rpm utility in Linux, these modules allow administrators to add and remove packages in a simple and standard way for the Linux operating system.
Progress does not provide an RPM pakage to be installad on Linux, instead the regular proinst utility is included with the media to perform the installation in an easy way, this proinst utility is the standard for all our Unix/Linux ports.
