SYMPTOM(s):
big Temp-table (many records)
QUIT, without any ON QUIT Phrase
Progress hangs with high disk activity
CAUSE:
Bug# 20030611-007 fixed in 9.1D06 and 10.0B
CAUSE:
Progress should not clean the dbi file since it is just about to drop it.
FIX:
Upgrade to 9.1D06 and 10.0B
or
If it is really necessary to manage that many records in a temp-table without clean time problems, then solution is to use a single user temporary database instead of a temp-table.
