SYMPTOM(s):
Data disappears from database
IDXCHECK/FIX shows no problem
System logs show no OS/hardware problem
random intervals large portion of the database tables disappear
records cannot be found
Data is missing from table.
CAUSE:
Application is permitting users to delete data within tables
FIX:
Restore the database from Backup roll forward AI Files.
To determine the procedure / user who deleted the table records add a DELETE TRIGGER to the database to fire when records are deleted from the specific table.
