How *Not* to Uninstall 8.2A
Progress Version 8.2A is not like previous versions of Progress.
Progress Version 8.2A makes extensive use of the System Registry and
because of this you should no longer simply delete the DLC directory
to remove a Progress installation.
To properly remove Version 8.2A, you should do one of the following
things:
1) Run the "Uninstall" icon in your Progress 8.2A Program Group.
2) Open the "Add/Remove Programs" icon from the "Control Panel",
select "PROGRESS 8.2A" and click the "Add/Remove..." icon.
