What to do before installing 8.2/8.3 on Windows 95
Before you install Progress Version 8.2/8.3 on Windows 95 you should make certain that your machine has the proper Service Packs installed. You can verify this by doing the following:
1) Right-Click the "My Computer" icon.
2) Select "Properties" from the popup menu.
3) Verify that the version of Windows 95 you are using ends in
either an "A" or a "B".
If the version does not end with either an "A" or a "B", you should
download the Service Pack 1 (or later) from Microsoft's web site and
install it before installing Progress Version 8.2/8.3.
