Status: Verified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Webspeed 2.0
SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed installed on none-English version of NT
Problems using the WebSpeed Services Configuration Utility - (Wscfg.exe) to add new services.
Failed to start new WTA, control_service call failed.
Service could not be updated with system error:(error code = 1321)
VerifyAccountGroup failed : WebSpeed error 0, System error 1321
Node <host> is unknown. (1321)
Followed by a message:
Call to NetUseGetLocalGroup failed. -or-
The specified user account is not a member of the specified group
account.
A new dialog-box: Service could not be added.
CAUSE:
The problem was reproduced on Norwegian and German NT workstations because those version's of NT do not have a local group called "Administrators" (with a capital "A" ). Other languages probably have the same problem.
FIX:
As a workaround, create local group called Administrators and add to that group the users you are need (Administrator, your weblogin or "normal" users).
