ISAPI messenger hangs intermittently
WebSpeed request times out intermittently
HTTP ERROR: 500 Internal Server Error
No other errors reported in the WebSpeed broker and server log files
The Web server is on a separate machine
Only the WebSpeed messenger is installed in the web server machine
WebSpeed Transaction Server running fine on a different machine with service pack 3.1D09
The messenger is setup to go through the NameServer
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Replace the wsisa.dll in the scripts folder ([IIS installation drive]:\inetpub\scripts) from the WebSpeed Transaction server with service pack 3.1D09 installed. Also, replace the wsisa.dll, wsmsgp.dll and the wsutil.dll files from the WebSpeed Transaction Server to the %DLC%\bin folder in the Web server machine.
In order to replace the .dll files mentioned above, the "IIS Admin" service needs to be stopped in the Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services. Stopping IIS Admin will also stop World Wide Web Publishing service. Wait about 5 seconds after the IIS Admin service is stopped, and then replace the .dll files. When you start the IIS Admin service back, be sure to start the World Wide Web Publishing service as well.
