Steps to consider before installing the additional progress licenses on the Windows platform

FIX:
The following needs to be stopped before installing the additional progress licenses:
1. Stop all progress applications, databases or other progress products running in the machine
2. Stop the AdminService for progress/OpenEdge in the windows services
3. Stop IIS Admin Service - this will stop world wide web publishing service as well.
If the above steps still did not clear some DLLs from the memory, make the step 2, step 3, and world wide web publishing service from automatic to manual in the windows services, and then restart the machine. After the successful installation of the additional product(s), you can start services and change those to automatic.
