SYMPTOM(s):
Problems when Connecting Client to Broker/Server with SSL Errors 12168 and 12167
SSL error 12072 - SSL Client handshake failure (-54) certificate is not yet valid: fb0dafS1.0 in c:\dlc100b\certs occured. (12168)
Error starting SSL handshake with the OpenEdge database server. (12167)
CAUSE:
Each certificate has a Begin and End date for its usage.
When the certificate server signs the certificates they May not be immediately active if your system clock and the server machine?s clock Are not in sync.
FIX:
In that case it will say Certificate is not yet valid.
If you use pkiutil ?list you can see the notBefore and notAfter dates/times of a Certificate.
