Report Conversion ( .prl to .rod ) Report Builder -> Actuate
Many customers have reports created with Report Builder that
need conversion to Actuate format.
To provide for this application migration Progress Software
offers the Report Conversion Tool, a Windows application which
converts reports from Report Builder 2.0 (V8) to Actuate 2.0 format.
The Report Conversion Tool opens a PROGRESS Report Library (PRL),
which contains reports created with Report Builder.
The tool presents a list of reports found in the PRL.
- User then can select a report
- Click the Convert button
- Report Conversion Tool generates a Report Object Design (ROD)
containing the version of the object in Actuate format.
- Open the ROD file in Actuate Developer Workbench for additional
modification.
The Report Conversion Tool will be offered FREE of charge to any
Progress Customer who requests it. Simply fax in the order form
included with the media or call your Sales Representative or
Sales Administrator

NOTE: This product will NOT be able to convert all reports, and
it WILL NOT BE SUPPORTED BY TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
