GOAL:
Why remote clients do not need to have access to the database files
FIX:
The Progress remote users (Win32, Unix or Linux users) do not need to see the partitions where the database is located, or to have access to the database files; they only need access to the TCP/IP port of the machine where the database broker is listening as well as the ports used for remote servers (-minport -maxport).
