Starting Progress from a xterm terminal (CHUI terminal window from a GNOME or KDE X Session)
CAUSE:
In Progress session, MESSAGE TERMINAL reports "xterm". Obviously, xterm is not defined correctly in the protermcap so it ends up with this situation.
FIX:
Setting the PROTERM environment variable to "linux" in the .profile file seems to solve the problem.
