SYMPTOM(s):
performing rfutil <dbname> -C aimage empty
** The file <name> is not the correct after-image file. (829)
Operating System logs indicate SAN disk failure simultaneous to rfutil operation.
CAUSE:
SAN disks died causing corruption in AI file
FIX:
1) Use operating system to backup all AI files to a safe location
2) Disable After Imaging
rfutil <dbname> -C aimage end
3) Backup the database with Probkup or Operating System Backup
NOTE: make sure the database is offline if using OS backup and that
rfutil <dbname> -C mark backedup is used after OS backup is completed
4) Re-Enable After Imaging
rfutil <dbname> -C aimage begin
