CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writting
NEGATEDFIX:
Adjusted SHMMAX and rebuilt kernel to avoid memory violations
NEGATEDFIX:
proutil <dbname> -C truncate bi
FIX:
Upgrade to latest patch on SCO OpenServer fixes the problem.
