FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom Management
SYMPTOM(s):
Fathom job fails.
Job runs a ping request.
Error 2 starting jvm.
No such file or directory.
CAUSE:
The command line for a Fathom job contained the ping command along with the input arguments.
FIX:
Remove the input arguments from the command line area. Input arguments must be put in the argument line area.
The format screen for creating a Fathom Job has separate entry lines for the different aspects of the job. The command and the arguments which are to be passed to the command have their own entry lines which must be used.
i.e.:

arguments: hostname
