Core file produced at the same time as a sql*.trc file
Following warnings and errors on the command "dbx $DLC/bin/_sqlsrv2 core"
warning: Unable to access address 0xf01b58e4 from core
warning: no source compiled with -g
IOT/Abort trap in pthread_kill at 0xd0014ad8
0xd0014ad8 (pthread_kill+0x80) 80410014 lwz r2,0x14(r1)
CAUSE:
Some part of the address space for the server did not get dumped to the core file
FIX:
In dbx, after the warnings are written out, type "where". This where command can produce a stack trace. This stacktrace might or might not be of interest but it should be checked, by Progress Technical Support or Development, based on the code of _sqlsrv2.
