SYMPTOM(s):
Getting 1176 when starting database
The data space of the process is not enough for the shm segment (1176)
Server crashed.
.lk file exists for the database.
Database not started immediately after server rebooted.
Database not running.
CAUSE:
Insufficient contiguous shared memory exists to launch the database with the parameters configured.
FIX:
Make sure databases start as soon as possible after the machine starts to allow for as much contiguous shared memory to be available for the processes.
