Database Agent was started by a user.
User logged off of the server.
CAUSE:
When a Database Agent is started by a user the process will be terminated when the user logs out.
FIX:
Start the Database Agent as a service.
1. Shutdown the AdminServer
2. Edit the file $DLC/properties/conmgr.properties 3. Add the following entry:
[agentremoteconnection]
agentremotesupport=true
4. Restart the AdminServer
5. Open Progress Explorer
6. Go to the database and select default configuration
7. In the agent folder, specify the Fathom hostname and the database admin port. In 9.1D this is 8835 by default.
