probuild libelf error output file space elf_update ldorarx
The following error has been observed when building an Oracle
dataserver client (ldorarx) with Oracle 7.3 on a Siemens-Nixdorf
UNIX (mipsapi) platform with Progress version 8.2:
ld: libelf error: Memory error: output file space elf_update:
This error can be resolved by increasing the SFNOLIM kernel parameter.
SFNOLIM is the max number of open files per process. The default of
100 may be too low to build the executable. Increasing to 200 is
recommended, higher if it does not resolve the problem.
