SYMPTOM(s):
System error 1987 when using SQL-89 ODBC application.
Operation number <number> not supported in this release. (1987)
Operation number 196 not supported in this release. (1987)
ODBC application is using database write triggers.
CAUSE:
The database triggers are using 4GL elements which are not supported for use by Embedded SQL-89/ODBC clients.
FIX:
Create separate triggers without the unsupported 4GL elements for ODBC client usage only.
