Unable to set the '>' format for a CHARACTER variable
When updating the variable the initial value is shown together with > symbol
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. The only allowed format for a CHARACTER variable are: X, N, A, ! , 9. Therefore '>' is a fill-char if set as a character format.
FIX:
Use one of the allowed format for a CHARACTER variable
