proutil -C convfile gives an error 4773
Converting <filename> from <codepage> to <codepage> (4771)
proutil convfile: error during read of test.txt, errno=0. The conversion may have been partially completed, so the file may be damaged. (4773)
Same command works fine on Unix
CAUSE:
This is a known issue - proutil -C convfile appears to be broken on Windows
FIX:
In order to proceed with file conversion use _proutil from 8.3E or 10.0A if possible or you can also use %DLC%\bin\83dbutils\83_proutil.exe (if database license is installed).
