No other methods to set name are available.

FIX:
In OpenEdge 10.0A this behavior is as documented and thus expected.
The enhancement request was logged to implement this functionality as the current behavior is inconsistent with other dynamic objects that can have their names set/changed, and the NAME attribute is often used to identify objects while "walking the widget tree".
It has been implemented in OpenEdge 10.0B and later releases.
