Database field " name " causes error in Actuate
When including a database field called "name", for example
customer.name, in an Actuate report the following error is displayed:
c:\data\test\design3.bas(77):Actual: Name Expecting: ID, [A-Z], width
1 error(s) found
Actuate automatically names the object using the name of the field
("name"). The error occurs because "name" is a reserved word for
Actuate.
This only occurs when using the Report Wizard. If a report is
created outside of the Wizard, the field will be given a name
such as NameControl.
WorkAround:
Right click on the object in the report layout.
Select rename and change "name" to something else.
Fix:
In the next release a field will not be named the same as an
Actuate reserved word.
