FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge SQL Category: JDBC Drivers
Progress 9.1x
OpenEdge 10.0x
SYMPTOM(s):
The JDBC Fetch Array Size for the SQL92 result set seems to be ignored.
Invoking the setFetchSize method does not seem to affect the JDBC fetch array size.
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. The use of the setFetchSize method has not been implemented in the Progress JDBC driver shipped with Progress 9.x and OpenEdge 10.0x.
FIX:
By default the JDBC Fetch Array Size is 50.
