SYMPTOM(s):
9.1D Installation on Windows 2000 fails without any errors.
Running the installation from a copy of the CD-ROM on a Hard Drive also fails.
The Setup can be seen as a process in the Task Manager, but will never do anything.
A third party software 'IBM Director Agent' is running and interfering with the installation procedure.
CAUSE:
The 'IBM Director Agent' is running and interfering with the installation procedure.
FIX:
Stop the 'IBM Director Agent' until the Progress installation has finished.
