When installing the DataServer product, the files needed for Native 4GL (/dlc) are not installed as expected.
Schema image on the AS/400 can not be created with DUPPRODB or CRTSCHIMG commands.
ERRORS received:
Error building synchronization startup program. (PROA104)
Synchronization not performed on DBNAME.
Error(s) in program CRTSCHIMG during CRTSCHIMG command processing
CAUSE:
This is due to a bug in the installation process.
FIX:
Restore manually the files from the tape using the following command:
RST DEV('/qsys.lib/TAP01.DEVD') OBJ(('/dlc' *INCLUDE '/dlc'))
LABEL(DLC) ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)
where TAP01 is the device name and the second '/dlc' in the OBJ parameter is the directory where the files should be restored (must be the same directory name supplied when the installation was done with the LODRUN command).
