INSTALLATION ERROR (102) when installing service pack on AIX
INSTALLATION ERROR (102): Unable to create the file (ETXTBSY)
INSTALLATION ERROR (102) refers to dll
ps output shows that no processes running for installation be updated
CAUSE:
Despite no associated processes running, some dll might be cached in memory by the system. The installation utility believes that the dll are in use and thus won't proceed with the install.
FIX:
At the shell prompt input -
slibclean.
This should cause the files to be released from memory.
