Problem with results and -l error (5)
INTRODUCTION:
=============
Customer could not define a new RESULTS report or define a new export.
Getting error (5): xbfxpnd -- no space. Increase "-l" parameter.
They had made no schema changes and were on a pc and therefore limited
to 63k for the -l.
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:

This was a difficult problem that was cured by modifying the qc file
and removing all the extraneous information for joins. This customer
was shipped this report from a var and was not using all the tables
and fields referenced in the joins of the qc. Once they deleted these
joins from the qc and removed the fast load files, exited results and
came back in, the error disappeared. In this example, the customer
had 900 joins, this could be suspect in any cases were there is a var
involved and customers have huge schema and therefore intricate report
details that they may not need to be using.
