GOAL:
Should Progress Application be installed on same machine as Progress Database
FIX:
Typically it is recommended to dedicate a machine for use as the database server, this is meant to optimize performance.
It is not absolutely necessary to have the database machine be a different machine than were the application is run from. However, there may be performance penalties due to contention for resources if it is not located separately.
