FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.x
SYMPTOM(s):
Installed OpenEdge Studio.
No errors reported at install time.
Complete was chosen for the Progress install.
Starts AppBuilder from Desktop.
Error message can not find custom object files.
When AppBuilder is opened from Desktop a Palette window is not created.
When selecting Windows Start/Programs/OpenEdge10/ the dropdown list does not contain an AppBuilder entry.
CAUSE:
Bad install. Exact cause is unknown at time of writing.
FIX:
Uninstall OpenEdge 10 and reinstall. Make sure complete installation is selected.
