CHANGE:
Installed Microsoft SP4 on Windows 2000 system
CAUSE:
Registry pointer incorrect. Msjava.dll located in WINNT\system32 and the registry key (CLSID key) showed msjava.dll residing in WINNT folder.
FIX:
Make a copy of msjava.dll and paste in WINNT directory.
