Can the database be shutdown and restarted, without having to stop and restart afterimaging?
GOAL:
Must afterimaging be stopped when the database is shutdown?
FIX:
Basically, afterimaging doesn't necessarily need to be shut down when the database is shutdown. The database can be stopped and restarted without afterimaging having to be stopped. Note that some admin functions carried out on the database (e.g. an offline probkup) will still cause an ai extent switch to take place.
