FIX:
Yes, as long as the Fathom Replication Source or Target resides on the same machine as the Fathom Management AdminServer. To do this, setup a log file monitor to monitor the source or target database log file. Attach a Log File Rule set that is looking for the specific messages that indicate that the Replication Server or Target has terminated.
Some of the error messages to consider monitoring for are:
Unable to establish contact with the Site Replication Agent on host localhost. (10498)
The Site Replication Agent agent1 cannot be contacted by the database broker on host localhost, port 4510. (10496)
The connection attempt to the Site Replication Agent agent1 failed. (10397)
Site Replication Server was unable to reconnect to agent agent1. Recovery for this agent will not be performed. (10697)
The Site Replication Server will shutdown but the source database will remain active. (10698)
The Site Replication Server is ending. (10505)
