Could not get hostname using localhost when running proadsv -query
AdminServer not alive. (8543)
Unable to connect to Admin Server. Ensure Admin Server is running. (8336)
ping <hostname> returns no output
ping localhost returns 127.0.0.1
Network card device is working properly
The machine is unplugged from the network
CAUSE:
TCP/IP loopback not properly set up on the machine.
FIX:
Amend %WINT%\system32\drivers\etc\host file following way:
127.0.0.1 localhost <hostname>
and restart the AdminServer.
