GOAL:
Why use "-is" switch for DDM files with Progress/400 DataServer
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress/400 DataServer
FIX:
The Progress/400 DataServer product supports the AS/400 Distributed Data Management (DDM) functionality in versions 7.3C20 and greater. DDM files may reside on one AS/400 and refer to physical files that reside on other AS400's. The use of DDM files in conjunction with the Progress/400 DataServer product requires the users to connect to the client schema holder using the -is switch in order to resolve client-server mismatches. DDM files that reference logical files are not supported.
